Hui Opera members perform “Guan Yu Floods Seven Armies” in the Rosenberg Sky Room on Feb. 13.
UIW International Affairs, the Institute of World Cultures, the Greater San Antonio Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the Alamo Asian American Chamber of Commerce hosted the performance of two legendary Chinese opera companies, the Hui Opera and Huangmei Opera, in the Rosenberg Sky Room at the McCombs Center on Feb. 13. In celebration of the 2013 Chinese New Year, the performance was an entertaining mix of song, dance and martial arts.
