University of the Incarnate Word welcomes Lisa Schultz

The University of the Incarnate Word welcomes home Lisa L. Schultz, who has accepted the position of Director of Alumni Relations. She begins work on April 1.

Lisa received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from UIW in 1991 and her Master of Arts degree in Social Gerontology in 1995. Lisa has worked for the Texas Organization of Residential Care Homes (TORCH) and Morningside Ministries where she most recently held the position of Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations.

Lisa is also a graduate of Incarnate Word High School, where she has remained a part of the Brainpower Connection, serving as President and Vice-President of the Incarnate Word High School Alumnae Advisory Board.

Lisa has also been an active member of the San Antonio community. She has served in a leadership capacity for several prominent affiliations including the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, Texas Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, North East San Antonio Faith in Action and the Jefferson Outreach for Older People.

Lisa will succeed Dick McCracken, long-time Dean of Alumni and Planned Giving, who will retire from that position in June, at which time Lisa will transition into the post. Dick will continue to be involved with the Incarnate Word community by conducting prospect research work for the Development Office.
