Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. for Light the Way taking place on the campus of the University of the Incarnate Word.
This annual Christmas celebration features one million twinkling lights and helps usher in the most wonderful time of the year for all of San Antonio. This year, our beloved holiday event, sponsored by H-E-B, will be even more fun!
KSAT12’s Steve Spriester will host a short ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Then the lights will be turned on so guests can enjoy the night’s entertainment under the twinkling lights. Musical performances from UIW and the Brainpower Connection schools will fill the night with the sounds of Christmas.
Guests are encouraged to get into the spirit of giving by donating a new, unused toys for the Elf Louise Project, which works to bring a little bit of holiday joy to less fortunate children throughout Bexar County.
The evening will conclude with a fireworks finale for all to enjoy.
