The UIW community lines up to participate in National Night Out.
For the second consecutive year, the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) was awarded first place in the college/university category for the 2015 National Night Out Competition, organized by the City of San Antonio Police Department. On Oct. 6, UIW’s Office of Campus Life collaborated with various university departments to host UIW’s National Night Out. Marked by the theme “Let’s Flock the Block,” students, faculty and staff enjoyed an evening of games, activities, music and free food and received valuable information on campus safety, healthy living, sexual assault prevention and drug and alcohol awareness. Nationwide, San Antonio ranked #2 in National Night Out’s official competition.
