The holidays are quickly approaching but before your schedule fills up, don’t forget to join us for the 28th Annual Light the Way on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, 7:30 p.m. in the Gayle & Tom Benson Stadium sponsored by H-E-B!
This year’s celebration is A Cardinals Christmas as we honor the 10th anniversary of our Cardinal mascot.
We have a great evening in store for you to kick off the holiday season, so we encourage you to bring your family and friends to this beloved UIW tradition. We have some fan favorites with UIW’s triple threat, three time alumna and Tejano superstar Patsy Torres and of course you don’t want to miss the talent of the Brainpower Connection performing groups. We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys at the ceremony for the Elf Louise Christmas Project.
The event will culminate with the flip of a switch and magically the campus will come alive with the spirit of Christmas. Take part in the procession to a reception on Dubuis Lawn sponsored by Sodexo and our friends at H-E-B. Once we flip the switch, the campus will be illuminated nightly through Jan. 6.
