Come celebrate “Christmas Around the World” at the 27th Annual Light the Way on Saturday, Nov. 23, 7:30 p.m., in the Tom and Gayle Benson Stadium.
Sponsored by H-E-B, this year’s program will feature Tejano Superstar Patsy Torres and performances from the Brainpower schools. The holiday fun will culminate in the official flipping of the switch to illuminate the campus with nearly one million, twinkling Christmas lights. Don’t miss the fireworks display sponsored by Tobin Lofts. Following the lighting extravaganza, a candlelight procession will be led by Mariachis Las Coronelas concluding with a reception on Dubuis Lawn thanks to H-E-B and beverage sponsor Sodexo. We will be collecting for the Elf Louise Project, so remember to share some holiday cheer by donating new unwrapped toys at the drop off tents at the event.
