Cardinal fans from the other side of the globe cheered for the UIW football team as it earned its first win in history. Living in Zengcheng City, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China, faculty members at China Incarnate Word (CIW) were able to watch the game live, play-by-play, thanks to the newly launched UIWTV. They even watched it on the big screen after setting up a projector so they could better enjoy the action.

The football game started at 7 p.m. Saturday in San Antonio, Texas, but in China, the game started at 8 a.m. Sunday. Therefore, being breakfast time, the teachers planned a special western breakfast to celebrate. The feast consisted of breakfast tacos, strawberry donuts, cappuccino and gallons of Starbucks blend coffee.

CIW faculty members look forward to continuing their support of their favorite overseas college football team, the Incarnate Word Cardinals!
